Uptime: Datacenter Tycoon is a management game made by Artovel Games. This policy explains what the game collects, why, and what you can do about it.
The developer of Uptime, and the party responsible for this policy, is Prayal Urja Private Limited (trading as Artovel Games), Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Nothing. The game has no accounts, no login, no analytics and no servers of its own. Your progress — your buildings, servers, cash, research, staff, shares, trophies, the company name you chose, what you have bought and your settings — is stored on your device. If Android backup is on for your Google account, Android also keeps a copy there, so your progress comes back if you reinstall or change phones. We never see it, on your phone or in your backup.
Uptime is free and shows adverts from Google AdMob, but only when you ask for one: a short video you can choose to watch to double your income for a while, call a contractor to fix broken servers, or double what you earned while away. There are no banners and no adverts between screens; nothing plays unless you tap for it.
To serve and measure those adverts, Google may collect:
We do not receive this data. Google handles it under its own policy — how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom you are asked for your consent before any advert is loaded, and you can change that choice at any time from Company → Settings → Ad privacy choices in the game.
Photo mode makes a picture of your building on your device. It stays there unless you send it somewhere. Share hands that one file to the app you pick (a messenger, for example), and what happens to it next is up to you and that app. Save writes it to Pictures/Uptime on your device. On Android 9 and older, saving needs the storage permission, which the game asks for only when you first save; newer versions of Android need no permission for this. Nothing you capture, share or save is ever sent to Artovel Games.
Optional in-app purchases (Skip Ads, the Starter Pack and the Share Pack) are handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your name, email address or payment details. Google Play tells the game only which item was bought so it can be delivered, and the game keeps a note of it on your device so it can be restored. Google processes the payment under the Google Payments Privacy Notice. Skip Ads makes every boost instant, with no video.
The game has no servers of its own, so there is no copy of your data with us to protect or to leak. What the game stores stays in its private storage on your device, which other apps can't read. Adverts and purchases go through Google's own software (Google Mobile Ads and Google Play Billing), which sends its data over encrypted connections.
Your game data is kept on your device (and in your Android backup, if you use one) until you reset it in the game, clear it or uninstall the game, and pictures you saved stay in your gallery until you delete them. We keep no data, so we have nothing to retain. Google keeps advertising and purchase data for the periods described in its own policies, linked above. Emails you send us (for example a deletion request) are kept only as long as we need to answer them.
Uptime is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. Adverts are limited to content rated suitable for general audiences with parental guidance (PG) and are never targeted as if the player were a child. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the game, contact us and we will act on it.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
